Do You Need to Organize Your Closet?

Did you know that we only use about 20 percent of the items in our closet, according to home organization experts? That means that for every five items taking up room on your shelves and in your drawers, you may only use one of them.

Now is a great time to go through your closet, weeding out the items that you don't need, want or use. As you look at each item, you should ask yourself if you wear it, if you love it, if it's the only one you have of such an item, and if it holds sentimental value. If all four answers are "no," then it's time to let it find a new home! Doing this on a regular basis can help you keep your closets under control.
