Anchoring Heavy Furniture

If in addition to having custom closets installed in your child’s bedroom, you choose to use a dresser, bureau or armoire, please be sure to anchor it properly to the wall. There have been cases of children being crushed under the weight of a bureau when they decide to pull out all of the drawers, or if they try to scale the furniture. You would be surprised; it does not take a very heavy piece of furniture to severely injure a small child.
